This is a theory and practical course to enable waller masons and bricklayers to acquire or enhance their skills in the application of dressed stone in the modern idiom. Dressing, squaring, jointing of machine produced masonry, working of quoins, drafted margins, checked quoins; advice on mortar mixes and correct laying and bonding of natural stone walling.
